We are perfectionists, pioneers, non-conformists. We are deeply interested in nature, humans, technology, AI and everything that makes the world a better place.

People often say, the sky is the limit. But is it really? For us as passionate skydivers it is quite the opposite, the ground is. Our comfort zone starts in the sky, confined only by the ground. So is our mindset. We strive to bring the best of nature and technology together to constantly improve the world in which we live.

Ben Niehaus | The Brain

Ben is the Technical Lead and Nerd of SpexAI®, transforming far fetched visions into market relevant products. With his deep knowledge, he ensures that we make smart decisions around our products. He is always exploring. Giving up is not an option, neither in his personal nor professional life. He treats failures as valuable lessons, but never as a reason to stay on the ground or stop pursuing what he believes in.

His professional career started with the study of Computer Science with a minor in Medicine. This path led him to become the global leader of Digital Phenotyping. This is where he envisioned and built the world’s Largest Robotic Field Scanner.

His knowledge and experience enable SpexAI® to deliver products and services which can significantly improve the way you grow plants today. When he is not improving SpexAI® you can find him in the sky or the Crossfit Box.

Nadine Walther | The Heart

Nadine is the Conductor of SpexAI® and our ray of sunshine. She leads the business, builds and nurtures great relationships and provides the structure needed for growth with her empathy and creativity. She is always striving for perfection in her work with an eye for beauty and design. No crash, no matter how hard, will keep her on the ground but rather gives her more motivation to succeed at the next attempt.

The foundation of her professional career is a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master in Communication and Psychology. Her 15 years of working experience in Consumer Goods, Digitalization and Headhunting, in Big Organizations, SMEs and Startups have equipped her with a diverse and profound set of business skills.

Her strong knowledge of communications and psychology enables SpexAI® to deliver products and services that you will love to interact with. When she is not improving SpexAI, she combines her studies of Yoga with the extreme sport of jumping out of a perfectly fine aircraft.
